Yarn's Bio:
Yarn has been waiting for his forever home for over a year!!!
Hello! I am Yarn – alternatively, I am called Yarney-Man, Sir Yarns-A-Lot, or Yarney-Barney. I am a grey and white male cat, just about 2 years old.
While I adore being around people, I am extremely hand-shy. I will wind around your ankles and purr my little heart out; I will happily eat treats from your hand; and quietly sit near your feet while you read in bed – but I am just not ready for pets. I am something of an independent super-model of a cat.
My favourite things to do are to eat (treats, wet food, and kitty-cat crunchies), chase mousey toys, chase wand toys…feathers, butterflies, owls, and play tag with other cats – most especially my best pal Fabric. I also prefer cardboard scratching toys over more traditional scratching posts.
I have a quiet voice and use it mostly to express excitement for breakfast and supper.
While I don’t feel I have any faults, my human companion seems to feel I kick far too much litter around. Clearly some people just have no appreciation for my enthusiasm! Perhaps YOU would be the one to embrace my artistry and maybe you would also consider my buddy Fabric as well!
2 years old; Neutered, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed and microchipped
Adoption fee $250
