Ares is a chill cat, who loves to lay out and observe the room and people. When you reach out to pet him, he'll offer you his cheek and then start purring. He's the more curious cat, wanting to explore the room and hallway and new toys we get. Although less outwardly asking for attention he does ask for it by coming up for a sniff and then settling near you for that cheek rub. He is still cautious if you move to quickly, which looks like getting up and walking to another area, but he then settles quickly to observe you. He doesn't react at all to the sounds of the house, like a distant dog barking or people walking around outside the door. He is so soft to pet and is a lovely cat to have around.
