Cashew's Bio:

Cashew is a beautiful buff boy who came in with momma Bluebell and brother Pistachio. We are posting him a little earlier than usual in his socialization process because it's better for him to go to his forever home and further his socializing there if the right person fell for him. He is very scared but is making improvements and we believe he'll continue to do so with the proper attention. He runs away and hides when you try to approach, but if there's a small enough space, you can pet him after he moves around the room a few times if you're calm and quiet. He does not do well with handling and will scratch and likely bite if it's someone inexperienced but we do see him progressing past this. He would do best with other confident cats or kittens around, showing him it's ok to trust his people. You can tell that he just needs time to learn people are safe. He's really a beautiful boy and we can see there's a gentle soul in there that's ready to come out in time.
