Chester & Marmaduke's Bio:
Meet Chester & Marmaduke
Chester and Marmaduke, the marvelous ginger duo, double the fun and joy, double the cuddles. Although they are not likely litter mates, they are from the same colony and almost identical twins. Chester has two connecting rings at the end of his tail and Marmaduke is slightly lighter in the face. They have complementary personalities with Chester being the leader and more outgoing and Marmaduke wanting to join in once he’s comfortable. If one is petted or brushed the other has to have it too - at the same time. They always greet their foster and spend time on the lap vying for pets and rubs. They give as much cuddling as they receive. Chester will stay on your lap for a long spell. He will also jump on your chest for cuddles, if requested. Marmaduke is a real sweetheart and will ask to be picked up and cuddled. These guys are charming and lovely.
Chester is absolutely crazy about string toys and has recently found out about the mouse game for cats on the tablet. Marmaduke will join in also.
As they are still acclimating to life indoors, they can get overstimulated when greeting you with a few nips. This can easily be redirected with stuffies and letting them settle down.
They are both picky eaters but have started eating the wet and dry food. One kind of wet food they will eat right now is Merrick Purrfect Bistro Rabbit Recipe, and the foster is getting them used to other types slowly. Sometimes Chester wants to be fed with a spoon, he is such a character.
Both have good litter manners and will make a great addition to your family. They are not exposed to children or other pets and would require a slow introduction, including other cats. Marmaduke is on the mend from a bite wound and Chester is recuperating from the removal of a broken canine.
