Domino & Marbles' Bio:

Domino and Marbles are a very sweet bonded pair who would love a quieter home together. They were rescued in Sept 2020 from a barn colony in North Augusta and we’re adopted as a pair that same October. Unfortunately their previous home added a dog to the mix which didn’t go over well with Domino and Marbles. They were recently surrendered to the rescue after 2.5 years as the owners felt they were too scared of the dog and spent most of their days hiding. In their foster home they are very happy and love attention. They both come out for cuddles and both enjoying getting pet. They are slowly getting used to a loud/busy house as well as being around older kids (11/13). Marbles is the more dominant one and acts as Domino’s protector, she does get along with the other resident cats as long as they keep their distance, otherwise they get a warning. Domino is more submissive and doesn’t seem to care about any of the other cats, he’s easy going. He recently had dental surgery to remove most of his teeth, he’s recovering well and so much happier now that he’s no longer in pain. Ideally they will thrive in a house of their own with no other cats and especially no dogs. They will be scared at first and transitioning to a new home will take some time. Once they know they are safe, you will be rewarded with two sweet kitties who will be so grateful you took a chance on them!
