Meet Duchess!
Duchess is a quiet and exceptional young lady.
She came from a barn home in Chesterville back in June 2023 along with her 7 kittens, another couple mom cats with their kittens and a tom cat. They were all pretty sickly and suffered greatly in their barn home. We have gotten them all healthy and we just have Duchess and Gracious left to find homes.
Duchess tends to greet me at the door of the foster room at mealtime and will allow brief petting but afterward, she prefers to sit quietly and observe her surroundings. The energetic atmosphere of the foster room can be quite overwhelming for her, making a tranquil home setting ideal, where her future family will respect her need for personal space. With patience and gentle encouragement, she will gradually become more comfortable. Engaging Duchess in play has proven to be quite challenging, as the kittens and younger adults dominate the space, but she is certainly receptive to receiving treats.
She is looking for a quiet home, ideally with her Best Friend Gracious that will give them time to settle and won’t be expected to be lap cats (right away anyway)

Adoption fee $250
If adopted with Gracious their adoption fee would be $450
