Meet Lilac & Topanga a special bonded pair looking for a patient and understanding home together.
Lilac is a sweet, low-energy girl who enjoys the quieter things in life. You’ll often find her relaxing on a cat tree, lounging in a sunny windowsill, or spending time with her best friend, Topanga. While Lilac can still be a little unsure about making new cat friends, her new but close bond with Topanga has been wonderful to watch and has helped her feel more comfortable and secure.
Topanga is still learning that people can be trusted and kind. She prefers to observe from the safety of her favorite windowsill spot when visitors are around, but she has been making steady progress. Topanga will allow gentle pets and lets people get close to her once she feels comfortable. She can be sensitive about being touched on her face or under her chin, and a hiss from her is not necessarily a sign of warning she may do this anytime she is touched. Her warning signs are that she gets really tense and may turn her head toward your hand as if telling you to stop. She has never shown any aggression. She simply needs people who will respect her body language and allow her to continue building confidence at her own pace.
Together, Lilac and Topanga make a quiet, comforting pair who would thrive in a calm home willing to give them patience, understanding, and love.
