Millie's Bio:
Millie is a sweet, elderly gal who needs someone to love her. She is not opposed to being pet, but she will not come to search out pets in her foster home. She accepts pets willingly if you go to her, but she is still a little bit timid and may get up and walk away. This petite and very low energy gal is content to spend the majority of her day cuddled up in a cat bed. Maybe once feeling safe and secure in her forever home, she might choose a warm and cuddly lap instead.
Millie was trapped this summer with a colony of other cats and kittens. She took on the major role of nursing, nurturing and raising nine boisterous kittens with the occasional help of 2-year-old momma, Pinto Bean (also available for adoption). Her foster is quite sure she has birthed a tremendous number of kittens in her eight years of life as a stray and she's tired and deserves a home where she can relax and just be loved.
Millie would do best in a home as an only cat with no other pets. She is not reactive to her foster's other cats, but she does regress and tuck herself away in the tiniest corner if the other cats are around and this lovely girl needs to be able to relax and not have to worry about her surroundings at this point in her life.
Millie is a great litterbox user (sometimes she can get a little exuberant in scooting the litter and it may fling over the edge). She likes both wet and dry food even though she has had the majority of her teeth removed. Millie has a permanent head tilt from ear infections that went untreated until she was rescued. She also has a healed but still visible scarred area behind one ear from past intense scratching at a sore ear.
If you have a heart that wants to spoil an older kitty who needs lots of love, Millie would love to be your girl
8 years old. Spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, microchipped.
