Meet Panther
If cats had personalities like people, Panther would be that grumpy middle-aged man who insists he doesn't like anyone... while secretly caring very deeply about his favorite people.
This handsome black cat has made his foster mom work for every bit of trust he's given, and that trust has been worth every second.
When Panther first arrived (as a stray from Brockville), he was extremely fearful of humans. Since then, he's made incredible progress and continues to surprise us with how far he's come. These days, he'll happily accept gentle cheek scratches and comes running as soon as he hears food is on the way. In true Panther fashion, he'll even let you know if you're not serving dinner quickly enough!
While humans are still a work in progress, other cats are Panther's true love language. He absolutely adores his foster siblings, Fifi and Zorro. In fact, Panther and Zorro are so inseparable that if we didn't know better, we'd swear they were brothers. Whether they're cuddling, grooming each other, napping side by side, or following one another around the house, these two are almost never apart.
Panther isn't looking for a family that expects a perfect, outgoing lap cat from day one. He's looking for people who understand that trust takes time, who will celebrate the small victories, and who will love him for exactly who he is—including all of his adorable little quirks.
The best things in life are worth waiting for, and Panther is no exception. With patience, understanding, and perhaps a feline friend by his side, this special boy has so much potential to continue blossoming.
