RORY is death-defying! She showed up with her sister Lorelei at someone’s house, who contacted the rescue right away as they thought Rory was pregnant. But turns out RORY had Mammary Hyperplasia, and she wouldn’t have lasted much longer outside. Thankfully a vet was able to perform spay surgery through the swelling, which has since mostly dissipated due to removal of hormones. RORY still has some swelling yet it should improve over the next few weeks.
And thank goodness! RORY is amazingly friendly, a crazy lovebug! She adores the company of people, and often climbs onto her foster .. for lots of loving, or perhaps her foster mom needs some grooming. Quick to purr, she can be picked up and carried around.
RORY is quite laid back. She’d rather be with you than play, but rather enjoys wands (since you are the operator) or chasing her sister. It’s unknown if RORY has had any experience with dogs or children – however, she loves the resident cat and gets along with other foster kitties. She loves to be brushed!
If you’re looking for an affectionate lap cat, then RORY’s the girl for you! She would love to be adopted with her sister Lorelei.
