Bio:
Let us introduce this beautiful, 2 1/2 y/o black panther, Tahini. Tahini (Mama) and her 5 kittens were rescued from Ingleside and brought into care approximately 6 months ago.
When we first welcomed Tahini and her babies into our foster room she displayed several feral cat behaviors, but over the past few months, she has completely exceeded everyone’s expectations. From sitting on the windowsill with her ears back, hissing and wanting nothing to do with people or her babies to becoming a very loving young lady.
After not giving up on her, she has turned out to be such a sweet, gentle girl. When entering the foster room and after petting the ones that meet me at the door she turns around to tell me it is her “bum rub” time with both hands. She will certainly accept head and ear rubs, and in return gives you the nicest little love bites and purrs.
Tahini gets along great with the other cats from other colonies in the foster room, but is not fond of our dog when he comes to the baby gate or when he barks. She is still not sure about play and really is not fond of the wand and being picked up.
Tahini would quite enjoy a family that would be patient with her and being the centre of attention in her furever home.
2.5 years old; Spayed, first shots, deflead, dewormed, microchipped
Adoption fee $250
