Teddy came to us back in March and we thought he was dying. He would lay in one spot and not move unless you moved him. He was eating, but was extremely thin.
The next morning the vet immediately said we should euthanize. We did not feel like the time was right yet. We could still see life in his eyes. We brought him home and started treatment for FIP. Very quickly after treatment, he started to respond. When he started walking, we knew we were dealing with neurological FIP, as he was very slow moving. It did not take long to see drastic improvement.
Teddy is now officially cured from FIP!! We have now treated over a dozen cats and this previously fatal disease is now curable and the outcomes are incredible! Teddy now has a full lease on life!
This cat who couldn't even walk on arrival now zooms all around the room playing! He jumps up and down off the bed and is a happy, healthy guy! He has a head tilt that's permanent but it doesn't slow him down at all and it honestly just adds to his cuteness! He is an affectionate boy who will seek out pets with a little chirp. He does give gentle bites when he's had enough or doesn't like the way he's being touched, but it's just enough for him to make you understand and not to hurt you. He loves cuddling with the resident male cat in his foster home. He will sleep with you on the bed at night. He is a true treasure of a cat and deserves the most loving forever home!
