Meet Toby — a distinguished ginger gentleman with a tough-guy look and a very soft heart.
Toby may greet you with his signature “resting grumpy face,” but don’t be fooled — underneath is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who truly loves his people. He just needs a little time to feel safe and settle into new surroundings.
Toby can be unsure in unfamiliar situations and may hiss at first — this is simply his way of saying “I’m nervous”. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, he quickly shows his true colours. Once he feels comfortable and trusts you, Toby absolutely thrives on affection. He loves pets, brushing, and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.
He’s also a playful and social cat who enjoys toys, tunnels, and spending time with his feline friends. Toby especially loves cuddling and grooming his foster siblings, and would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly cat to help him feel secure.
