Whiskey's Bio:

Whiskey is an extremely affectionate, male, two-year-old, domestic short hair ginger. He grew up in a colony—hence his rough appearance—but is a total love bug, house-cat at heart. His biggest strength is his unwavering love for humans. Whenever his foster mom or dad walks into his room, he greets them with little quiet meows hello, only to be as quiet as a mouse the rest of the time. He then promptly begins purring at full volume to show you how happy he is to see you. He enjoys nothing more than to be picked up where he will give you hugs and burrow his head into your chest, rubbing you with his cheeks—all while letting his tongue hang out! If he had his way, this is where he'd stay all day! He also likes to roll onto his back for tummy rubs where he will gently play with your hand without pulling his claws. An incredibly adaptable boy, Whiskey took no time at all to adjust to his foster home so anything from a stable home to a family who wants a companion to be by their side through light travel to different homes or one’s workplace would all be suitable. He is a medium-energy cat, as he doesn't spend a whole lot of time lounging and is becoming more playful as the days go on but still prefers snuggling over playing. He has met children and is so gentle and loving to them. As for grooming, his first day in his foster home, he allowed his foster mom to shampoo his tail to make him fresh as a daisy! The only trouble was trying to finish the job while he purred loudly and rubbed against the humans all throughout—so grooming appears to be no issue! Overall, Whiskey is a quiet, affectionate, friendly, lap-cat with a loud purr. So, if you are looking for a loyal and comforting companion to be by their side, this guy is it!
