Winifred & Penelope's Bio:
Winifred (Freddie-tortie) and Penelope (Penny-calico)
This stunning pair came to us in February and were very scared for a while. They get along very well and are looking for a forever home together!
Freddie is hilarious and an adorable little ewok. She’s so tiny and cute and has the most adorable, unique orange tip on her tortie tail! She loves to rub all up on the other foster cats. She will flop down for pets on the bed after running to you. She's become quite affectionate!
Her foster can pick her up briefly to put her on her knee, and she settles in for pats and purrs for a bit. She’s still a little skittish but is quite content and eager with her foster.
Freddie and Penny cuddle, clean each other and wrestle. Freddie has become quite the Churu fiend, and swipes at the packets if you try to offer some to someone else. Then she chirps at you innocently and awaits her due. At times, she swipes at the other cats for seemingly no reason. Then the next second is chirping at them and rubbing up on them for attention. Odd little duck. She does tend to hide when introduced to strangers. This pair will need a gentle, patient adopter who sees the potential they have. They have learned a lot about trusting in their foster home and have made great progress but will need to learn that their new home is safe as well.
Penny has come a long way but still has room to grow. She was very hissy and swatty at first but will eat Churu off her foster's finger now. If she’s hungry she’ll come and let her pet her while she anticipates food. She will let you pet her while distracted by eating and puts her butt in air as if she likes it. But she’s still uncertain, and pets are interspersed with some hisses and a watchful eye. Certain movements still scare her and she may hiss and is scared if you try to approach in a way she doesn't like.
These girls are so deserving of a special forever home.
1.5 Years Old. Spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, microchipped.
$450 Adoption Fee for the pair
