Bio:
Dionysus is a three year old cat who came to us as a shy scared foster, originally from a colony.
It's taken him a long time to trust us and he is still scared of sudden movements. In the last few months, he has truly blossomed, and now greets us with a chirpy trill, and has turned out to be one of the most vocal cats we've ever had. He has the most beautiful curly whiskers and very silky long fur, which he takes good care of. He plays with wand toys and strings, but most of all, he enjoys playing with his foster buddies, especially Athena. He approaches us for pets now and likes being brushed, once he figured out what the brush was for.
Dionysus has developed a routine now, which involves specific napping spots, and anticipating meal times very accurately. He loves his colony companion, Athena, and they are quite hard to tell apart at times, unless you get a glimpse of curly whiskers. Then you know it’s Dionysus.
Dionysus is a very gentle boy who doesn't bite or claw, hiss or swat his foster humans unless they try to pick him up. He hasn't been exposed to children. He’s becoming a very social, low key guy who would make a good companion. If you like quiet company, and are patient with him getting used to a new environment, he’s your man!
He would love to be adopted with Athena, or be adopted into a home that has other cats.
3 years old; Neutered, first shots. Deflead, dewormed, microchipped
Adoption fee $250;
Adoption fee if adopted with Athena is $450
