Dionysus is a two and a half year old cat who came to us as a shy scared guy about 7 weeks ago.
It's taken him a long time to trust us and he is still scared of sudden movements. In the last couple of weeks, he has truly blossomed, and now greets us with a chirpy trill, and has turned out to be one of the most vocal cats we've ever had. He has the most beautiful curly whiskers and very silky long fur, which he takes good care of. He is starting to play with wand toys, and enjoys the interaction with his fosters. He approaches us for pets now and likes being brushed, once he figured out what the brush was for.
Dionysus has developed a routine now, which involves specific napping spots, and anticipating meal times as he is still food insecure, due to having been part of a colony. He winks at us with his right eye, although we don't think there's anything wrong with it, maybe just a habit.
Dionysus is a very gentle boy who doesn't bite or claw, hiss or swat, but hasn't been exposed to children. He’s becoming a very social, low key guy who would make a good companion. If you like quiet company, and are patient with him getting used to a new environment, he’s your man!
