Trap, neuter, release/rehome (TNR):
TNR is an effective way to reduce the over cat population by live trapping cats and sterilizing them so they can no longer reproduce. Every cat is vetted and placed in a foster home. Our fosters assess each cat's personality to note whether they would thrive in an indoor home, or if they are better suited to a barn home.
With the help of volunteer drivers, we run cats to a vet in St. Zotique every Tuesday to be sterilized, vaccinated and/or microchipped at a discounted rate. Please send us a message if you would like your cat added to our waitlist.

Spencerville TNR focuses on controlling outdoor colonies and strays. We do not take in pet surrenders. If you are in need of assistance in sterilizing a colony or stray, please email [email protected] OR send a message through our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tnrstraycats).
Do not fill out the Surrender Form until you have spoken to our TNR Coordinator and come to an agreement to surrender your colony/stray.
